Fragrance
Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
(John 12:3 ESV)
Jesus,
my Lord,
let my love for you be reckless.
Let my worship be
a fragrance beyond obvious
so that all who are near
must know,
unavoidably,
that I love you.
(A prayer-poem.)

very nice! i like this thought: “Let my worship be
a fragrance beyond obvious”
it plays with my imagination of what that would be……
